Irwin H. Steinberg- Hon. Board Member

Irwin H. Steinberg – Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Music Connection, McLean, VA, Mr. Steinberg currently serves the company on a part-time basis pursuant to a consulting agreement. From 1982 to the present, Mr. Steinberg has been President of IHS Corporation, a consulting firm specializing in the music business. From 1975 to 1982, Mr. Steinberg was Chairman and CEO of Polygram Records, a major, worldwide, music company. From 1946 to 1968, Mr. Steinberg was co-founder and President of Mercury Records, a major US music label. Mr. Steinberg currently serves as Adjunct Professor at Columbia College of the Arts, in Chicago, where he teaches Graduate courses in the music business. Mr Steinberg will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from Columbia College in the spring of 2002. Mr. Steinberg holds an BA degree from the University of Chicago Business School and a Masters degree from the University of California.
